GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB, August 30, 2019: IPAC Services Corporation was announced as PAR certified at the bronze level in a national press release by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) yesterday. This designation is a matter of great pride at IPAC and a testament to their commitment in maintaining good Indigenous business relations.
“Receiving PAR certification is validation that our company is a best practices organization in the field of Indigenous relations,” comments Rochelle Killins, Director of Communications.
Derrick Mysko, IPAC’s President adds, “We recognize the significance of partnering with Indigenous businesses goes beyond our aspirations, it further enhances prosperity for the communities.”
The Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) program is internationally unique in that it is the only credible certification program with an exclusive focus on Indigenous relations. To become certified at the bronze level, IPAC had to participate in the online reporting program, go through an independent external verification process, and finally a review by a PAR Jury composed of Indigenous business people. Assignment of standing is made based on corporate performance in employment, business development, community investment and community engagement.
The PAR program and this certification shows that IPAC is a good business partner, a great place to work and that they are committed to their corporate social responsibility policies.
